In this program you will learn how to provide basic patient care under the direction of a nursing staff in residential care facilities. Nursing assistant job duties may include taking patient vital signs, helping with basic needs, such as bathing or dressing, serving meals, assisting with medical procedures, and providing compassionate, one-on-one care to patients on a daily basis. Your tuition and fees include books, scrubs , immunizations, and CPR training, with payment plans available for your convenience.
*The program is approved and regulated by the Career Schools and Colleges section of the Texas Workforce Commission, ACCSC, and Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS).
Students may choose to enroll in either the resident (on-ground) program or in the online program. Completion time expectations are the same whatever delivery method is chosen.

“This year has been very rough for me I lost my father I've been hospitalized 3 times and I've been up-and-down with being sick when I in rolled at Arlington career institute I felt a little worried but once the ball got rollin I was able to find myself again the medical terminology class was instructed by Mrs Sandra and being a part of her class made me feel that I had a purpose in being in the medical field I have previous medical experience but walking in her class and absorbing the education she provided I feel well prepared for anything the medical field has to offer I am due to graduate in July of 2020 and I am looking forward to that not only because I went to school but because I know when I walk across Arlington career institute stage And receive my medical office specialist certification I am ready to take on the medical field.”
